This place is amazing....people were so friendly. Hotel has been remodeled and rooms are clean and really nice now. The bar is welcoming and people are nice.

The room was not the cleanest room. The walkways were dirty. The maintenance room near the steps was left propped open which is a safety hazard. The internet was shoddy and slow. Disappointing stay. Then breakfast...what a joke. You get a voucher and can only choose from a limited amount of things. It's not the complimentary breakfast quality that you expect from a hotel.

Not bad for a Quality. Reasonable rate, the mattress was nice, the WiFi was adequate and best of all the a/c blows cold. Not your standard Choice Hotel breakfast, but it did the trick.

Checked in after a 14 hour day. Need to get on the internet for the aviation forecast. No internet. Call front desk. Reboot. Quality Inn signal appeared but no signal bar. finally got signal from the econolodge next door but just a one bar signal. fired up my second lap top, no signal. called my pilot downstairs and he had the same story 3 laptops, no signal.. he expressed concern about the kind of people that were floating the parking lot. we considered looking for a late nite gun store. it took little time to notice the gross condition of the room. stuff stuck to the walls, hair and cobwebs in the corners. the room was plumb nasty. in the moring i found that my coffee maker had not been cleaned. yum! we cancelled the remaining five nites of our stay and checked out. there was some amusing poster on the wall about 'guest satisfaction'. better that the poster be hung in the bathroom where it would be put to better use hygenically. i asked for one of the rooms to be comped for our inconvenience and was told via voice mail that since nobody else had complained hence my disatisfaction was not valid. I SPEND 35 GRAND A YEAR ON HOTELS AND I THINK I'LL BE AVOIDING QUALITY INNS FROM NOW ON. i write this from the HOLIDAY INN 2 blocks away. on the internet of all things. hey general manager, how do ya like my lil fraynd?

My husband and I went to the Quality Inn by default.....but we were happy to get a place to stay for our 40th Wedding Anniversary compliments of our son. We got as close to the Outer Banks as possible which was Elizabeth City. At first when we checked in it seems as if everything would be fine.....Clerk was nice directed us where to go to get some great seafood. When we went to our room everything was OK. As soon as we laid our heads down, we heard awful barking throughout the night. Of all people to put dogs next to it was us. Our neighbors and their dogs are the worst ever. It was a nightmare, we thought we has gotten away from that uncontrollable barking! Then the breakfast that we were so looking forward to Lol....we do not eat pork and if we wanted eggs with we would have to pay. We left and brought breakfast down the street. Not happy at all....the best thing about the stay the bed was comfortable not the pillows. When we checked out the room that had the dogs next to us, let the dogs do their business in the room! It was terrible.

2 months ago the key went to the room open the door and not one thing was touch from where the person before was there. I am exhausted and that was rediculous....

We asked for NON SMOKING and were sent to a smokers room.... I called the front desk and was told that the room I was in was a non smoking room... Funny, why was there an ash tray? We asked for another room... They gave us a key to an OCCUPIED room!! When we FINALLY got keys to an UN-occupied room I went into the bathroom to take a shower and the water was YELLOW! I'M NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN.
