It is difficult to describe an experience that never happened. After going to Sweet Lucy's as long as they have be in this location and never having a bad experience-it finally happened. We had some friends in from New York and had been raving about Sweet Lucy's so we went for dinner on Saturday 4/25 around 7:30 PM.(They close at 9:00 PM). I walked up to the ordering counter to place my order and told that they were out of ribs and chicken. Can you imaging a place that does ribs and chicken and has built a reputation on BBQ being out. The explanation was that they had a busy lunch.? That was 6-7 hours before my arrival. Obviously the management of Sweet Lucy's is either inept of uncaring-either way I have to give them a one star rating. The poor youg girl behing the counter deserves that much-they really threw her to the wolves. IF I go back again I will call before I go there to make sure the hour trip from my home is worth while. My recommendation to anyone going to Sweet Lucy's call ahead or run the risk of disappointment

Great BBQ for being in the Northeast. Their brisket is tender and the ribs are better than a chain restaurant. The mac and cheese and baked beans are the best. However, their corn bread is ok. Service is prompt and courteous. I definitely recommend this place.

Had 2 pulled pork sandwiches and the bbq sauce was watery the pork tasted like the pulled pork you get from Walmart Fat Jacks is 10 times better and cheaper

The disappointment was clearly not worth the trip. Overpriced. Small portions. Only "BBQ" in my life that I walked away hungry. How does that happen? Whoever wrote these great reviews have never eaten REAL BBQ in their lives. Don't trust zagat or urban spoon. I can find better BBQ in a French bakery.

sweet lucy's is the type of place that you fall in love with as soon as you see the building. the staff is super friendly and the menu is fool proof. my god the food is delicious. there is a ton of seating and even that is cool. they owners defiantly put good thought into putting this place together. lets just say once you get in and start eating, you'll never want to leave. oh yeah the corn bread is choice.
