Malaysia Airlines Flight 370: Six Months Without a Trace - 16 photos - http://goo.gl/Vuuhiw - Six months ago, on March 8, 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 mysteriously disappeared about an hour into a routine journey from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, with 239 mostly Chinese people aboard. The search is due to resume again soon, with investigators hoping that evidence might be found in the southern Indian Ocean, though it will be extremely difficult to find on an ocean floor four miles deep, with the black box voice and data recorder batteries long dead. Loved ones of missing passengers are left with huge holes in their lives, losses without explanation, grieving in a painfully uncertain situation. Some derive what comfort they can from what was left behind: photographs, possessions, emails, plans, and memories.

B&W photography tip: Consider contrast, which is very, very important in B&W photo. Tip from: http://ricksammon.com/

September is childhood cancer awareness month, so if you're interested in helping spread awareness about retinoblastoma re share this post, and donate.
Most cancers are named for the part of the body where the cancer starts. Retinoblastoma is a cancer that starts in the retina, the very back part of the eye. It is the most common type of eye cancer in children.

Crappy car wash that didn't work, so I go in to get my money back and they say to go around again,he will reset. I go around and wait, I see the arm move so I drive in. It starts then goes crazy and hits my car. The guy steps out and tries to blame me for the problem, tells me to go around and wait for him ,so I go one last time. It starts and runs great, he's standing there watching. At the end it goes crazy and hits my car and mirror, he says something but I can hardly understand him (Indian). Will never go back.

After arriving at a mostly empty restaurant last night, it took about 5 minutes for someone to finally come out and seat us. Some blonde girl, sat us and dropped menus on the table and left. After the waitress finally came by and failed to smile or say hello, she took our orders and left as well. The food was fine, but our waitress was only seen twice: once when she seated us, and a second when we paid our bill which was taken by the same waitress. No eye contact nor a word. Our party of 4 will never go back.

Wont be going back! What a shame, because i really liked the coffee, but the lady who was there today (5/3) had such a crappy attitude. I can count the times i have complained about service on one hand, but i just couldnt take it and called her out on it. From the moment my wife and i walked in, she made us feel like we were bothering her; no smile, no greeting, curt and crappy attitude. The young man who she may have been training was nice and helpful and i tipped him for it (although im sure he probably has to split his tips at the end of the day). I sure hope that for the sake of other customers (and the business), that she gets training and/or changes her attitude. If a front desk clerk at my hotel were to treat guests in that manner, that clerk would quickly be documented for it.

Terrible service from the guy behind the counter. Expressionless and gave an attitude like we were bothering him. Hardly said 1 word, even then it was a mumbling whisper. Stood there waiting as if to ask "what else do you want on your sandwich". Open your mouth and speak dude, WTF?
