I'm not sure what's happened with this hotel in the nine months since its last rating (which was 4 stars), but this is easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. They tried to put me in a room that had recently been vacated by one of the live-in cleaning staff. There was a kitchenette (which I didn't need or ask for) and a single bed shoved against the wall. The carpet was filthy and needed to be replaced and the place reeked. There was a small adjoining room with another bed set up on cinder blocks. This was less a hotel room and more a low income apartment that had not been prepared for new renters yet. I refused to stay in that room so they moved me to a different one, which has been fine so far. The cable was out for the first three days I stayed here and "high speed" wi-fi is anything but. The people across the hall had their AC go out and had to be moved to a different room. The first night here, there was a crowd of older folks in the lobby who were understandably upset that they had been sold a "handicapped accessible" room on the second floor of a building with no elevator. There is currently another crowd of vacationers in the lobby frantically calling around for available rooms at other hotels because the three or four rooms they reserved were no longer available and they had not been informed that there reservations had been cancelled. It is 10:45 PM. The only reason I am still here is because my current room is reasonably clean and I have already paid for three more nights. DO NOT STAY HERE.

DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!! A poor rating does not do this "hotel" justice. I purchased the jacuzzi suite and got to the room and the jacuzzi was pepto bismol pink. The tile around it had gunk built up on it. The wall size mirror next to the jacuzzi had an 18" crack in it. The light above the jacuzzi was hanging by the wires. The carpet had not been vacuumed and was sticky. We were there 5 minutes and demanded a refund. We went about 2 miles down hwy 340 and stayed at the Amishville Inn. The room at Days Inn was $109. The King Suite and Amishville Inn was $119 and came with a deluxe breakfast. The Amishville Inn is beautiful. Dont waste your money at Days Inn.

My husband and I recently stayed here on a trip to Lancaster. This hotel is in a great location for touring Amish country. The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and a perfect size for us! The continental breakfast was very good and had a lot of variety for a free hotel breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel we were very pleased!

I would recommend this hotel. It was clean, new carpets, no unpleasant odors, comfortable, quiet and reasonably priced. We stayed for one night, it was quiet despite that just around the corner was a very busy area. So it was close to many restaurants and Rockvale Outlet Mall, but just enough away to feel peaceful. If you are visiting the Amish country this is the place to stay.
