I like the fact that this feels light and airy - a big plus in a shopping mall where you can easily feel claustrophobic. This can be a great place to shop if you know where you want and can go straight for it, or don't mind the crowds. Perrsonally, I would be prefer Oxford Street where you can get some open sky between shops and there are a number of department stores to visit - John Lewis on its own isn't enough. That said there are some great restaurants upstairs and out in The Street, and it has done wonders for the local area. You only have to go across the road to the old Stratford shopping centre to see what it was like before.

Great place to shop and eat in also, though do need a map sometimes to find where you are going as it is so big. Really convenient to get to from home and work, and it has all my favourite stores, stall and restaurants - including Waitrose, Cabana and Joe Delucci's for fantastic icecream. Also, love the free 30mins charger points scattered around the mall - saved the day many a time with an overworked smartphone battery.

Nice shopping center. Conveniently communicated via DLR, tube (central & Jubilee), rail and bus services. You will find most of what you need or expect from a shopping center but I rather go to the one in White City/Shepherds Bush. I like it more, better restaurants, better stores, deco and style are better, it's bigger and perhaps not that crowded as the one in Stratford.

Being just a stones throw away from my house, it's handy to visit when you need to pick up a few bits and don't want to go all the way into central London. That being said, it is horrendously busy all day, every day to the extent that it's usually unbearable, and I avoid it if I can. Expect gigantic queues, slow walking crowds, untidy shops and very little stock on the shelves. I know my way around the Westfield very well, but initially it's hard to navigate and the lack of maps is incredibly frustrating. That aside, the range of shops is good and it is very, very convenient if you live in East London.

Good shopping centre with a great selection of retailers. Food and drink options are also good with food court serving fast food, a food area with branded chains (eg Giraffe, Yo Sushi etc) and also artisan food/drink places on the ground floor. Only complaint is that the design of the main levels means the whole thing is narrow, so if you get behind a slow couple then you can't really get passed them easily!

Good big shopping centre, i really like it. Is too busy during weekend, but if u can make it during weekdays and during morning is even realxing. You can find anything there, mobile phones, banking, supermarkets, clothing..propper bread, italian fresh pasta, original japanese food, and turkish sweets... Worse thing? u cant go in with dogs. were are u supposed to leave your lovely puppy? ewaiting outside with the bikes?
