The internet is not a private party, or the play thing of quasi-democratic governments. It is the peoples' voice and it should remain in our hands!

Why Apple V Samsung is pathetic for innovation and competition.

In a sentence, apple should have won, but the patents should have never existed in the first place. Some of the trade dress complaints were appropriate...

It's good to see google involving itself in the local tech scene. With ACARA and incubate, hopefully we'll see more programs roll out to Australia

Google builds in big data, pretty amazing (if it works).

Just wondering if google "achieves" its mission of organising the world's data, where will we get competition from?

Today we’re bringing new features to the Google Play Books app. You can now highlight, take notes and translate words or phrases. And when you come across an unfamiliar location like a foreign city or obscure river, we’ll provide you with an info card containing a map and additional information. Read more about these features on the Official Android blog: goo.gl/0CduU

Lecturers that break their habits and find new ways to teach understanding are exactly the kind of teachers we need. The aspiration of any education system is for students to learn how to learn, and if we are busy parroting a static curriculum how can we expect such engagement or passion.

Rough around the edges but a real gem. Universal may have a few worn glasses and menus but only because the servings are generous, the flavours are great, and items for those that are value conscious or looking for a decadent delight. I had the vegetarian burger, the burger was delicious with well balances sauces, the chips were chunky and the italian slaw refreshing. I followed this up with a pistachio cannoli with hot chocolate. A friend had an arancini and absolutely loved it. The most generous meal i saw was the chicken parma which struggled to stay on the plate.

Perfect breakfast melbourne dishes, with the average price of a dish being around $20, its above what i would normally pay but absolitely worth a visit. The service here could not be faulted.

Impeccable service, friendly and frank staff, one of the best clothing establishments I've been to. Tony could sell woolen fleece to a merino, and if it came from jay dillons the merino would walk out knowing it got a great piece of clothing. I will return to this amaxing store.
