I have had 3 vehicles from Volvo of Edison. I thought I had found a car dealership that I could trust and that would treat me with respect and good customer service. I was completely wrong. Stay away from this dealership and any Long Motor dealership. In my opinion they will say anything to make a deal and not follow through on their word. I don't know what changed over the years, but in my opinion this is a place that is not out to help you, they are only looking to get a quick deal and take your money. Don't believe a word they say. Car buying and leasing is stressful enough without having to worry if the salesperson and management are telling you the truth about your deal.

I brought my car here to get some simple emissions repairs done. The first problem was that they'd "lost" my appointment that I'd made a week in advance. After I'd handed over my keys and signed the paperwork, the guy behind the desk told me that this dealership is not qualified to do emissions repairs for state inspections. I should have just asked for my car back at this point. I dropped my car off at 9am and they did not call me until 4pm that day to tell me what work was going to be needed. When I called them at 2pm, they couldn't tell me anything about my car. I don't think that it's right for them to take 8 hours to decide that my car needs work and that they'd need to keep it until Monday to do that. I told the salesman that I needed to pick it up today, and he was hesitant but agreed. When I drove my car out of the parking lot, the idle was very rough and now there's a burning plastic smell coming from the engine. I do not feel safe driving my car right now, and I do not plan on coming here again, even if they are a Volvo dealer.

Is the car business in such good shape that the Salespeople can afford to ignore potential customers? You'd think so if you go to this dealership! I spent over 10 minutes in the tiny showroom opening the doors, checking the trunk, and even getting in the car yet not one individual approached me. I spent a minute walking past the service desk, reading the posted service plan, yet no one bothered to ask if I was being helped. On my way out I offered them another chance stopping to look at a car in the lot right outside and within their view. Do not give them your time or your money. I wonder had I been a white male if I would have received more attention. Shameful....

Absolutely love this dealership. I purchase and awesome used mini cooper from them. They worked with me on down payments and pick up dates!! They treated me as if I was buying the most expensive car on the lot. They really cared and they really wanted to make me a happy customer. I have my car and I LOVE IT . .and I LOVE VOLVO OF EDISON!!

I was at the store about a week ago, I typically hate car shopping but my sales person Rich Cioffi made the process so easy I will gladly by pass Volvo of Princeton (which is in my back yard) and make the trip to buy from Volvo of Edison again and again as long as rich is still working.

Been coming here since May 2008. Bought my C70 in California, and had it shipped to Staten Island. This place has never shown me anything but outstanding service and the utmost courtesy. Was there today for routine maintenance. In and out in under an hour. Beautiful place, clean, and a pleasure to hang out here for awhile!

people aren't very classy. strong arming a horrible price isn't a good way to do business. guess that is what you get when you deal with uneducated people from joisy!
