Gluten Free options. Great food and interesting menu keeps me going back. They tend to change their menu and specials enough that it won't get boring. They have a good selection of alcoholic drinks. Location is great and the staff are courteous and friendly. Make sure you have a good conversation with the staff because they are all very interesting. I usually skip desert but this is one restaurant where I like to indulge. It is hard to find good gluten free desert but they have a diverse offering of yummy treats.

Not sure I like it as much as El Pulgarcito, but it's really good.

My wife found this place in the Pitch. I must admit, I wasn't too excited, expecting blandness and lots of frying. How very wrong I was. They had a special dish of Salvadoran meatballs, and holy crap. Genuinely incredible! the most tender, moist and flavorful meatballs I've had in the city. Fantastic. My wife is a vegetarian and was comfortably able to eat here. Although avoid the beans, they have lard. She had plantains with cream and a cheese pupusa and was very happy. The service may be a bit slow and disorganized, but who cares. Try this place!
