We are hosting a youth hack ham on June 23rd and there is an overwhelming response from the community -- we are sold out! To add, there is another event happening at the same time and they are also full. This tells me a few things...kids are getting the instruction they need in school and as prolific as many online programming classes are, kids and parents are either unaware of them, they aren't meeting their needs or they want 1:1 instruction.

SWEappcademy is Sweden's first training of its kind for 10-12-year-olds. In educational management from some of the world's leading experts, they learn, individually and in groups, making good mobile apps. One of the goals of the week is that 1-5 of the apps we develop will be made out correctly by professional app developers. This places great demands on us all!

SC2 gets a Learning Rating of BEST!
 
I'm very interested in the new ratings initiative by +Common Sense Media. They are rating apps and games in terms of learning potential with great information for parents and students on what they can expect to learn from the game.

I'm definitely going to be including this information on +Teach Me Stuff to help parents understand the benefits of a SC2 coach for their kids.
