Story
Tagline
A nonprofit that helps inner city students establish themselves as writers and artists
Introduction
Speak Your Mind & Shape Your World is a professional art and literary journal focused primarily on the work of high school students in Buffalo public schools. We try to increase public awareness of the tremendous literary and artistic talent that exists within our schools. We cultivate dialogue about literacy, writing, and the arts among students, and connect students to the resources of local cultural organizations. We also foster student achievement beyond the classroom in preparation for the college admission process, and provide guidance as students begin their journey toward higher education.
