The Trans-Alaska Pipeline is a marvel of engineering. The pipeline runs almost 800 miles, from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez, where the oil is transferred to tankers. Crossing three mountain ranges and more than 30 rivers and streams, the pipeline is elevated for over half of its length due to permafrost. We offer tours in Fairbanks and Copper River that will give you an up close look at this man-made wonder.
