Its decent place, but you will hear highway traffic noise if you are camping.

I like this camping site.We had access to electricity and a pool and the people who ran it were really nice.

Very Unlevel, A/C didn't even cool the 500sqft cabin, my normal sized pickup truck didn't fit in the parking spot for the cabin (making it stick out in the road to be hit); the receptionist was rude. The wifi was completely unusable, which made me use my cell carrier and ended up costing me more than the cabin did for 3 days... Will not be coming back. Hot, miserable, sweaty, and the pond was completely dry. The bathrooms were not climate controlled either. Also..... When I asked if they could do anything about the internet speed (I have full signal, and its too slow to email), I was told no "Just deal with it"...

Do NOT camp here! Pond described was probably run off from the highway that was close to the campground REALLY CLOSE! Heavy traffic all night. Bathrooms were gross. Rude staff. The pool was used by the public. Oh did I mention the rude staff? The store was small amounts of dust covered canned food and 10 year old RV parts. Oh did I mention that the staff did not look up from the computer when you came into the store? Maybe they were too busy hacking my card that I payed with. YES my card was compromised!!!! Although the lowest rating is 1 star, I rate this MINUS 10! And the person that said the negative comments must have been about previous owners was wrong. This was 2015.

I'm giving it a begrudging 3 stars. Not ALL that bad, but not being familiar with the area, I looked at the picture they use on their web page. This is most assuredly NOT the view from one of these campsites. You can see and hear the VERY busy highway from your site. Fortunately, the A/C in my RV is loud enough to drown MOST of the cacophony out. This is NOT the spot to go and relax in the Smoky Mountains. It's an older campground, but it IS reasonably well maintained, the bathrooms and showers are very clean, and the people that work here are quite nice. If you want a central location to see the super touristy Tennessee sites (Dollywood for example), don't mind a busy highway in your ear all night, this site is fine. Just do NOT expect to relax in some tranquil mountain setting while gazing at a star lit night sky. Fine for a stopover if you are headed up or down the highway.
