The Gene & Julie Show
Since 1995 I have worked with my crazy husband, Gene, hosting The Gene & Julie Show
. We love being the voices that wake-up a community, and we have worked in some of America's most exciting cities: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas and Atlanta. Currently our show airs on CBS Radio's 103.7 Lite FM
/ KVIL in Dallas... an incredibly vibrant, liveable city which is a phenomenal place to raise our daughter. Our show is about relationships and the comedy that happens when a man and woman try to live together in the same house. One of our most popular features is the weekly "Relationship Report Card" where we give each other a letter grade on how we did as spouses. If you want to see fireworks in your marriage, I recommend you give your spouse a grade for one week. Or maybe not...
Working Couple Network All these years working together has been an incredible adventure, but we realized something was missing: a network of other crazy folks who work with their significant other. So we created the Working Couple Network-- a place to connect and promote working couples. We post blogs, interview successful Working Couples and coordinate gatherings (we like the ones over cocktails). This has become a true labor of love.
Outside of business, I am the typical Room Mom who doubles as Girl Scout Troop Leader. It's scary how much of a walking stereotype I am... I actually drive a minivan and shuttle my daughter to her weekend soccer games. Egads-- I'm a Soccer Mom!
Additionally, I am passionate about my alma mater, the University of Puget Sound, and I always make time for my Pi Beta Phi sorority sisters. I also have the best neighbors in the world who I can count on in a pinch. Plus, they're always up for solving the world's problems over a bottle of wine. It just better be good wine. :)
