I upgraded my netbook to Ubuntu 12.04 and now wifi keeps disconnecting and prompting for the password to reconnect (in fact, it does this even when ethernet is connected). It worked fine under 10.10, 11.04, and 11.10. Package rtl8192ce-dkms failed to update, would I like to report this? Yes, please. Okay...oops, sorry, that package is not reportable.

sigh

Now, do I revert to an older kernel, reinstall Ubuntu 11.10 or give up and try another distro? I recently switched my old laptop to Crunchbang and I love it (I'm typing on it right now)! That's still Debian-based. Maybe it's time to try something completely different. Arch, perhaps?

I switched to Linux Mint with MATE a while ago. It's built on Ubuntu so I don't know if it will solve your problem but I like it. I'm thinking of switching to Linux Mint Debian Edition and cut out Ubuntu altogether.
