+MODX and +FoxyCart ecommerce is finally looking like a reality. I've seen the back end and it's really impressive, and very fast to interact with.

+FoxyCart and +MODX together at last thanks to BLUcart by +AugmentBLU, MODX Web Development.

Super impressive stuff. Really impressive inventory matrix functionality.

A wandering #spider in the garden of our current house in Costa Rica. The most dangerous spider in the world, according to wikipedia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_wandering_spider

(To be fair, the Brazilian species is the most dangerous. Apparently the species that occurs in Costa Rica isn't quite as bad, but r/spiders has assured me a bite from this bad girl would make me wish I were dead.)

Photos taken with an iPhone. Unmodified.

Interesting exploration of fake Likes and why it's probably better not advertising on Facebook. Google+ doesn't have that problem (yet), right? :)

An animated gif of an Owl Butterfly found (already dead) in Costa Rica. I tried to get as good angle on the proboscis as I could without doing some dissection.

This little gal got trapped in the one window with a screen in the house. And I'm not sure what it says about me that I didn't try to shoo it towards the door when I saw it there…

Do you believe in your product?

When you were younger, did you ever participate in fundraisers for your school or church? You know. The ones where you sell as much product as you can to your family and friends (family mostly, since your friends were just kids themselves). Being the band nerd that I was, I had the privilege of doing this on multiple occasions.

We often get asked about becoming PCI compliant "quickly" or "easily." Here's what we say when somebody simply must handle cardholder data.
