It is smelly, the staff is mean, and they have almost no selection of comics. Defiantly not for kids ages 3-12.
Response from the owner - a month ago
We have no idea who this is, more than likely just a "troll" from another store. We always offer the best comics and gaming environment possible. For any readers I'd suggest disregarding comments that start with "they are smelly" Just looked up this "Troll" and his only other review is a 5 star for a competitor. I love this place for MTG

I'm still 50/50 on this place. It's got 3 magic the gathering games a week and that's a bonus but a lot of the players are pretty rude while a small core are the exact opposite. I can never tell if I'm going to hate my experience or really enjoy it. The comics selection for current titles is adequate and it's a very young shop so don't expect back order books to be plentiful - that's just unrealistic. I'd say try it out and see what happens. It's real close so I'm a regular but every other time I leave I never want to come back! Not much middle ground with this place.

i have been going to the geekadrome now for a year or so to buy my comics and games and not once has my experince been a bad one the atmosphere has always been friendly and welcoming if paul the owner doesnt have in a title you want he will get it for you as fast as his suppliers will bring it to him and ive seen on here that there are a few unhappy people bashing the magic the gathering events he holds well my brother plays there every friday and occasionally on monday to participate in his booster drafts. But you cant make everyone happy and there are people who are bound to get angry with stores

The Geekadrome hooks me up with what ever I need. I have a pretty diverse taste for strange titles that most shops don't stock and the owners of the Geekadrome never fail either have what I want on the shelf or special order it for me. These guys also stock and play alot of cool board games. It's great to stop by and join a game when you have the time. I have found a number of titles that I really enjoy thanks to the Geekadrome.

Great place with an awesome atmosphere. I have been going to The Geekadrome for a while, and I really enjoy my time at the events. There is a great variety of products for any gamer, and if they don't have it, the owner can order what you need. They even have a good stock of obscure board games. The Comic Book selection is current with big names as well as lesser known independent comics like 'The Guild', and I know the owner takes comic subscriptions, which is really awesome. The owner was knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. I have gone to a few magic events, but my friend enjoys the Dungeons and Dragons events every week as well as a few casual Warhammer 40k games. The atmosphere is friendly, and it is easy to make friends with similar interests there. An awesome place that is worth checking out!

Great place to go. Owner is knowledgeable about many games and welcomes all types of customers. I just visited the shop one day and had such a great experience that I come back as often as I can. Owner has personally shown me how to play Warhammer 40k and Magic. Others there provide great friendship and are willing to help me learn more about Magic. From comic books to D&D to 40k, its a great place to go.

well mainly, i'd say it's a comic shop. but their selection mostly contains only recent releases. but they also have many table top games. they play many of these games in the store regularly. WarHammer 40k, D&D, Magic: the Gathering etc... If you're looking for a place to play Magic, Geekadrome offers a very very casual environment. which is fine if thats what you're looking for. but if you are into competitive Magic and well run sanctioned play with good prize support; you better look somewhere else. the store owner's role as a judge/event coordinator is questionable at best. and there is practically no prize support at all. also, i wouldn't recommend buying and selling individual cards with the owner, as he generally is clueless as to card value or even what cards he should buy. i suggest serious Magic players find somewhere else to draft or go to for FNM.
