Went ziplining for the first time with Sonoma Canopy Tours in 2013 with friends. I was a little nervous, not a super heights fan but the pre-flight training eased some of nerves and once you get the first line done-so much fun! It is a beautiful and fun way to see the gorgeous Redwoods. They hire super nice tour guides, 2 for each group who make you feel safe and secure and know quite a bit on the ecology of the forest! Had such a good time, went again last week with my husband who had a fantastic time and said "it was the highlight of our trip!" Note that the Canopy Tours does share mutual parking lot and some driveways with a Christian camp, but they are separate businesses and we were not solicited in any way.

Apparently this place is part of some kind of Jesus camp! When we showed up there was stuff about Jesus and Christians everywhere. "Through Christ anything is possible" type of nonsense. I don't care if people love jeebus, I just don't need to know about it. Luckily once we got going and actually on the zip lines none of that was brought up and it turned out to be pretty fun. We had really good guides and the kids had a great time. I still think it's very overpriced considering you only ride about seven zip lines and only takes about an hour and a half. A family of four is $400!

This place is well worth the money. If your military make sure you call them and tell them $69 instead of $109. My first zip line tour and I am terribly afraid of heights, but I felt so comfortable. Will do it again!!!

Excellent guides, very sturdy, safe equipment, fun group to fly with. Make sure to look around and down at the trees as you fly. Shorts and any tennis shoes are fine in the summer.
