Is it just me or does Feedly not allow you to click on an article somewhere in a list and then continue moving down the list after that using the hotkey navigation?  It's like the hotkey doesn't know where you're positioned and pops you back to wherever you were when you last used a hotkey.  This is not the way google reader behaved and I sure miss it!

Is it just me or is it darn-near-impossible to distinguish whether or not the current article I'm looking at is marked as read or unread?  (desktop, chrome, osx).  Having some way to explicitly choose the color of this headline would be really appreciated!

Been doing a little bit of checking on Bitcasa as a cloud storage solution. Between Dropbox and Backblaze I'm pretty well covered and have no plans to change my basic workflow anytime soon, but Bitcasa does actually seem to address the needs of some of my friends.

Anybody out there using it on a regular basis?  Thoughts?

I never buy extended warrantees on anything else but will ALWAYS get applecare on my laptops.  Have a new trackpad, battery and display housing on my 36 month-old MacbookAir, all because I took it in to complain about a squishy trackpad button.

Saw screening of 'Gravity' last night.  Intense as hell, and totally rocks.  And it's one of those movies where I will watch it again because the first time through I didn't allow myself to spend too much time thinking about the shot construction and camera work and VFX and all that.  But those things are equally amazing.

Quote of the night - in a Q&A after the screening the director is talking about how Jim Cameron and he had been discussing what it would take to make this movie.  And Cameron said something to the effect of "The technology is there to do it now, but the tools aren't, yet.  So you're going to have to develop the tools."

Perfectly encapsulates the way Cameron thinks about his movies too - know what's possibly, technically, and then just build your own tools to make it happen.

+Mykal Hall You just made my day - to hear that I helped to inspire someone's passion is the best feedback I can get!  (Also, you've got some awesome shots on your page dude!)

I've just put up a lighthearted time lapse video I made this past weekend showing the building process of my new hexacopter for aerial photography. Hope you enjoy it!
