Apartamenty taniutkie, nowe hotele i  ośrodki, nowe trasy no i chyba....piękna pogoda jak to w Dolomitach bywa.

After the big snowfalls in higher regions, which brought up to 90 cm of snow, you can already ski in a lot of ski areas in the Dolomites. From 6th December 2012, more of them will start the new season, Sellaronda included. For the next week end, all 12 ski areas of Dolomiti Superski will be running with 316 lifts and 569 km of slopes in total. Enjoy! - http://www.skiingitaly.net/

Just in - confirmed !
Saturday you can ski on the slopes of Ponte di Legno and Temù.

Thanks to the snowmaking system and the cold weather in recent days on Saturday following slopes will be open: Valbione, Horn of Aola, Casola red and the cross-link to the slopes of Pertiche Doss, Roccolo Sartori Roccolo Ventura.

Passo Tonale almost all of the slopes will be open including the access to the middle station connecting with Ponte di Legno. There are good conditions on Presena glacier as well. More on Ponte di Legno and Tonale at http://www.SkiingItaly.net/

Sellaronda

The land of Italy is home to many wonders. These wonders also included those of the scenic sort and amongst these natural settings or regions, there are many that allow for excellent and ideal prospects for skiing, snowboarding and different winter as well. Amongst these settings, perhaps the most popular and commonly known of them is the Dolomites, a range of mountains located in the North eastern side of Italy, in proximity to the Austrian border. The Dolomites themselves are composed of vast and relatively ideal regions that are conducive and appropriate for winter sports, e.g. Skiing, Snowboarding etc. The Sella Ronda Ski Carousel is considered by many experts of the skiing genre, to be the most effective, recognized and reputable of the ski routes that exist or are found in the midst of the region designated as the Dolomites. In reality, it is an intricate group of compact mountains that are wrapped or looped around the entirety of the Sella Mountain range in a clockwise or anti-clockwise fashion. For those who are experts or even intermediates at the art of skiing, the terrain is not insurmountable at all and can be done so within the span of a day while for beginners, even though the fact remains that it does accommodate them at some point, still it is prudent if indulge in a bit of training before hitting the really challenging areas.
The Sella Ronda Carousel is composed of about four passes, them being the Sella Pass, Gardena Pass, Pordoi Pass, and Campolongo pass. The valleys in this region are, Val Gardena, Valdi Fasa Livinallongo and Alta Badia. The whole carousel is spread across the expanse of about 3 provinces and offers some of the most exciting and uplifting of skiing and snowboarding experiences in the world.
Even though the name of the latter indicates it as a circuit, it is not so. In reality, it is more of a merry go round for skiers and is the first and probably the only one of its kind. It is a most curious and fascinating setting that is composed of ski lifts, and exciting runs of the descending assort and to top it off, they are all interwoven or interconnected. The ambience is stimulatingly alluring and magnetic, with rocky peaks and wide ranges or expanses of pristine and candor induced snow which are the ideal synthesis for creating and bringing about a most mystic and beautiful environment.
