Have you ever used Cinnamon Oil?
I’m loving it in my home made skin scrub. 
Mix it with cinnamon sugar, orange juice, and coconut oil to create a rejuvenating body scrub that has antiseptic properties to kill skin bacteria effectively. 
You can use cinnamon oil in a an oil burner to help with any respiratory problems, it is known to help to lift feelings of depression or put a few drops in a bath, to help alleviate body aches and pains.
The ancient Egyptians knew all about the true power of Cinnamon oil, beyond its enticing musky-spicy scent, it has a light yellow tinge that distinguishes it from the red-brown color of cinnamon bark oil.
You’ve probably heard of cinnamon bark oil, but don’t be confused – it’s an entirely different product. Cinnamon bark oil is extracted from the outer bark of the tree, resulting in a potent, perfume-quality essential oil. Cinnamon bark oil is extremely refined and therefore it makes it expensive for everyday use, which is why I like to use cinnamon leaf oil, it’s lighter, cheaper, and ideal for regular use.
Cinnamon leaf oil is known for its health benefits, here's a closer look at what makes it so special….
The therapeutic properties of cinnamon oil are germicidal, anti fungal, anthelmintic (capable of expelling and destroying parasitic worms) antidiarrheal, antidote, antimicrobal, anti-putrescent (prevents and counteracts decay) analgesic, antiseptic, antibiotic, antispasmodic, an aphrodisiac! an astringent, a carminative, emmenagogue (promotes menstrual discharge therefore easing period pain) insecticide, stimulant, tonic and vermifuge. WOW! what a list…hard to find another oil with so much to offer.
However it does come with some precautions…
While the cinnamon powder in your kitchen is safe to consume internally, the same cannot be said for cinnamon leaf oil….
DO NOT ingest cinnamon oil without the supervision of a qualified health practitioner - as it can cause irritation, especially on your mucous membranes.
Pregnant women and nursing mothers should avoid using cinnamon leaf oil, because of it's emmenagogue meaning it may induce menstruation, which is dangerous for an unborn child. 
Avoid administering cinnamon oil on very young children, too.
Before using cinnamon oil check that you don’t have any allergic reactions. Try a skin patch test: apply a small amount of diluted cinnamon leaf oil on your skin first. When applying cinnamon leaf oil topically, blend it with safe carrier oils, such as coconut oil or almond oil.

Are you getting enough Antioxidants?
Diets rich in fruits and vegetables have been considered as excellent sources of antioxidants. These compounds help decrease free radical molecules, which damage cells and lead to disease. The best way to measure antioxidant capacity is - Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC). The following are thought to be the most important antioxidants:
Anthocyanin's - Great health enhancers, abundant in many fresh fruits and vegetables especially red, orange and blues ones.
Ascorbic Acid - we all know this one, Vitamin C!

Carotenoids - This family of yellow, orange and red compounds include beta carotene, astaxanthin and lycopene. Tomatoes especially when cooked are known to be loaded with lycopene and lutein.
