This place is an unclean, overpriced dump. The resort and restaurant section of this hotel are nice, and when walking in it is a seemingly wonderful place to stay. But, in my experience, the rooms ruined the stay for my fiance' and I. The rooms are tiny and the beds are incredibly cheap. The most disappointing aspect, however, was how shockingly dirty the rooms are. Our blankets had holes in them, dirt in the sink, floors were filthy, etc. When I asked to check out early, they didn't want to allow. They ended up letting me check out early, but charged me almost $600 for a one night stay. This is not a $600/night hotel my friends. At 30% more expensive than the Royal Palms down the street, total disappointment. The Royal Palms is at least what it says it is. For the money, skip the Firesky and go to the Royal Palms, The Phoenician, The Hyatt or even one of the many Marriotts. All those hotels will have a more friendly policy, modern/clean rooms, and a much better experience overall.

Good amenities and service. The room was modern and clean, but the shower was lack luster poorly designed. The employees were courteous and helpful. Overall the hotel was beautiful, but our room had a bad view of the back of some other buildings.

My husband and I had an overall great experience staying at FireSky. To start, the concierge was outstanding. Offering rides within a few miles from the hotel, we didn't have to deal with waiting for taxis. On they days we wanted to venture out, they gave recommendations of where to go out for lunch/diner, and where to hike and bike. Being from the flat lands, Camelback was an awesome hiking experience. We stayed in a clean, spacious 2nd floor room with a pool view, highly recommended. We were a little worried as to if we would have a good time by the pools with it being the beginning of September, and in the high 90s. The pool was kept cool, and their were plenty of chairs to sit in the shade or sun. If any of my friends or family ask me where to stay in AZ, this is the spot.

I'm planning my wedding here for September of 2016 and so far my experience has been great. Kelly is always available for questions and the reservations staff have been great getting our guests all connected. We have stopped by a few times for meetings with vendors or just to look around and everyone is always very welcoming. We are excited for our big day here

I haven't decided if I will keep my reservation - so technically I haven't stayed yet. I would like to share my booking experience... booked online. In website under "free" amenities... it lists Free WiFi, Free Parking, Pool, Hot Tub, Gym... few others. When I saw the hotel final price there was $166 increase - at first I assumed taxes but then I did a little math and this was 25% of base room rate. So I called & asked what's in taxes & fees ...person responded there is a $22/nite "resort" fee. I then asked what's in the resort fee... she said WiFi, Parking, Pool, Gym.. I say I don't have a car why am I paying for valet parking and the other items are listed as free. Response..it's a mandatory fee. I find this very deceiving. If hotel wants to charge a higher rate then do so but saying things are free and charging anyway using a different name convention is a joke and poor business.

This was probably the worst Hotel, I have ever had. When we initial got there at noon our room wasn't ready which is understandable concentering that check in is 4:00pm. So we then decided to hang out at the pool, but there were no pool towels available so we scratched that. We went to the bar to have lunch and we meet Will the bartender, who was very pleasant and had lunch. After lunch we walked around, and that's when I noticed the pool view on the first floor like we requested was starring at the pool gate. So I went to the front desk and asked if there was something on the 2nd floor but there really wasn't anything available, so I asked if we could just get the Lagoon view instead even though was still charged for pool view. The lady at the front desk did try to accommodate our group and but us together. Here is when it gets fun, we asked the restaurant if they can accommodate 10ppl as we were celebrating two birthday parties. They got us set up pretty much in the middle of the restaurant. Our server came and got our drink and appetizer order, told us about the specials. We were talked and joking around like a normal group of 10 would. That's when our waiter came and told us we need to be QUIET we are way too loud, it was bothering other guests. At this point we had probably only been in the restaurant for about 30 minutes and have a group of 10ppl, how can you ask ten people to stop talking. I didn't realize that we were in a library and not a restaurant. We have been to restaurants all over the valley including 5 stars restaurants and resorts and never ever had someone basically tell us to shut up. Everyone at the table was very offended so we all got up and left, went to another restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale that was more than Happy to take our group and enjoyed having us. This experience could have been handled in a more professional matter instead of the way it was. That just shows us the lack of experience the staff has.

I was a model at the medical convention. The FireSky is amazing. After looking around, I could only dream to have my wedding there! 5 ☆
