Awesome and good luck!
My new "Variable Scope In JavaScript" screencast has all the polish you would expect, unlike the first one I did. I've learned a lot since then, and received a ton of feedback that I've really tried to pay attention to.

This new screencast is leaps and bounds beyond where I was with my "Refactoring JavaScript" episode. I'm hoping the extra effort pays off.

That's awesome.
Good morning Google Plus. #Craftidea for today- if you want creative envelopes, go to #Google Maps, map the route from your letter to the other person's mailbox. Print them up, fold them into 8 by 11 envelopes (or smaller if you are sending #holiday cards).

Thanks for the share! The NimblePros team did a great job with these again - this year, they're all AntiPatterns.
Ah! The new Software Craftsmanship 2012 Motivational Calendar is out. I loved this last year. http://nimblepros.com/calendar

So is there an easy page I can go to that will let me link or transfer my current GMail-based Google Plus account to my personal Google Apps account that is my primary account for everything (except G+ because when it launched it only worked on GMail)?

Google is preparing to announce its latest social networking tool, Google-. Google- (Google Minus) will provide a unique new experience for social networking veterans by showing them any time they are removed from a circle, unfollowed, unfriended, or have said something stupid on the Internet.

"We thought it was time to bring back more of the negative feedback loop that keeps (most) people from being complete idiots in the real world into the Internet's social networking world," said an anonymous Google- engineer.

With the rollout of Google-, users will soon be able to -1 posts that are offensive, inane, boring, or simply were made by people the user doesn't care for. "One thing that's been missing from existing social networking tools is the ability to really slam somebody for no reason other than they're not part of your clique. We're trying to address this important use case." When asked whether "trolls" on discussion boards and comment threads already demonstrate this capability, the anonymous source responded "Oh we think we can offer much better tools to such power users."

Michigan passes legislation that legalizes bullying against homosexuals, minorities, Muslim children, and everyone else if the attacker's reasons are based on religion/morals.

You can thank religion for this bullshit.

Note: The video is from an opponent of the bill who states that this is the "low point" of her career.

If you're making a podcast or screencast and want to find some music to use in it, check out the Free Music Archive: http://freemusicarchive.org/ It has tons of music available for this kind of use and organized by genre.

Sharing just to show up on Scott's Ripple diagram for this item...

Is Google+ going to allow us to associate Google Apps accounts (or just multiple Google accounts) with it, or is it tied to GMail accounts only for the foreseeable future? Anybody know? If they've already "fixed" this issue, please let me know.

C# people - let me know if you think having backing fields on properties that are only accessible from the property's get/set methods would be a useful language addition.
