The most interesting part of this story is in the final few grafs; a peek into the violent reality of the rodeo and stock show business.

The last time Mr. Leach saw Kipper (his hog) was at the arena, in his pen on champions’ row the day of the auction. Some ... call the arena’s back loading dock, where exhibitors aged 8 to 18 say goodbye to their animals, the trail of tears. “It was one of the hardest things to do, to leave him in his pen,” Mr. Leach said, standing by the dirt and hay in Kipper’s empty stall back in Haskell. “I miss him. I really do. I miss just kind of knowing that he knows you’re there, and you know he’s there.”

I'm sharing something that I don't think has been seen before (I could be wrong but this is still about as cutting edge as you get).

These are images I made of the brain's connectivity. They are unique because they show the average connections of a group of people and not just a single individual.

Why should you care?

Because these images demonstrate that collectively our brains have largely the same underlying connections. I've also included an image of my own brain's connections (last image). It’s important because it shows that although the underlying structural organization is similar to the average brain, mine and (everyone’s) is different. It's these different connections that probably give rise to much of the variation in human behavior.

~I posted an older version of these pictures Feb 14th (http://bit.ly/HPnXCZ) . So, if you compare the old post verse these current photos you can see how my method has improved. It’s science in action! ;)

Too bad that doing things the right way can get you killed, sometimes.

Scary, brave, stupid, awesome.

Surprisingly, we’re not huge fans of camping here at LateRooms.com...

Especially not when it’s 4,000ft up a vertical cliff face! Yikes.

Here's ‘Extreme Camping’ (from Gordon Wiltsie - via telegraph co uk)
