I decided to collect and take a few more pictures to help out fellow hangers who are trying to build this hammock stand. The original idea comes from here:

I want to adjust my emergency alert settings; I can only see the following in the screenshot below when I go to <settings>, <wireless & networks>, <more>. Could this be with my wireless network provider? or is it a ROM issue? (Running Viper 10 5.8.0 on a USA Unlocked H20 Wireless network...thanks!):

Hi Cheryl, I really like the new website design! I got my two poles in the mail this past week, and have been ready to try it out, except for the rain...I know at one time you had some videos showing how to erect the poles, are these not available? I can't seem to find them.
Take it easy,

CRKT Hissatsu and Heiho Folder Musings.

I had posted earlier about changing or modifying the scales on my Hissatsu Folder: https://plus.google.com/108095917339225076028/posts/PLfQdJp2g1p

I decided instead to get a Heiho folder. I didn't realize the size was smaller. I did like the Heiho because of the pocket clip, that allows for a deeper ride in the pants pocket. I also like the handle scales.

Also, if you were to take out the Heiho in public, you wouldn't get near the gasps that you would get when you took out your Hissatsu. Both have the assisted opening feature called the Outburst, although that can be disabled with a few hand tools.

I still like my Hissatsu, as that sucker is really a "fist of death" defensive weapon. But, if you want something to carry to work, you might want to choose the Heiho.

I have yet to see how the blade holds up, but it is factory sharp. I don't feel qualified to write up a detailed review, but I would guess that you should be careful with that sharp point, as it will likely break with any sort of torque.

Either way, both of these knives should suit someone trained in knife defense.

I still think that the Hissatsu could benefit from a weight reduction, and a handle scale redo into a different material. I would also like to relocate the pocket clip to where you could carry it deep pocket. I paid $35 for the Heiho, and years ago, I paid way too much for my Hissatsu!

Has anyone seen a way to modify the handles of a CRKT Hissatsu Folder? I'm reasonably handy, and would like to take the stock black nylon handles into a slimmer profile, maybe with micarta.
