This is one of my favorite restaurants in SLC. I always hit it up for Outdoor Retailer. The food is terrific and the wine selection is good. Ambiance is great as well.

Went there for a Dine O Round service so the lunch was discounted. I had a tofu wrap which was very oily. But for the discount okay. Then I went into the bathroom and discovered many small roaches. I informed the manager. Then I realized I had eaten all my food before I went into the restroom. I have often heard the saying that you can judge how clean the kitchen is by looking at the cleanliness in the restroom. Well in my case I hope to god I was wrong. Won't be coming back.

We did not have to wait long. The food was beautiful in presentation and delectable. My compliments to the chef, actually posted by Susan Bliss

5/11/2014 My wife and I ate at The Wild Grape for Mothers Day. My wife is gluten intolerant which we informed the waitress of as soon as she introduced herself. She assured us my wife's order was gluten free. About 10 minutes after we left my wife had to make an emergency bathroom visit and multiple thereafter. Either the food was not gluten free (which the symptoms indicate) or she received food poisoning. We will not be back, there are many other great restaurants in SLC where we have never had a problem. Update: I spoke with the floor manager, Eric, who was very understanding, polite and handled the situation very well. I do not know if we will be back but if Eric is as professional as a manager as he is on the phone I do believe our experience may have been the exception. For all patrons with allergies I would suggest speaking with the floor manager prior to ordering.

Another favorite dining experience. The braised beef with gnocchi is my all time favorite there. The last time we dined there the head chef came out and talked with us about the new desserts he created which we ordered to find out what we thought. Nice to have some personal attention. It was fun and we'll be heading back for sure.

I recently got "hired" at The Wild Grape, I'm not getting paid for the day of work I put in on Tuesday nor am I employed because they moved the shifts around and are now looking for someone "more experienced." Their head chef Dave is unprofessional and the service and communication I received from them was unacceptable. Thank you for wasting a week of my time when I could have been looking for a job, and now I am unemployed. It does not matter how good their food is, any establishment that treats people this poorly does not deserve to have be as a patron.

The food was excellent quality but fairly standard pseudo-gourmet fare. The servers were knowledgable but, unfortunately, quite slow. The food was reasonably priced for the quality.
