Our 2012 Dijon Clones Chardonnay was not only rated 92 points in May the issue of Wine Enthusiast, but it also graces the cover (as well as an inside spread!)

Our in-depth winery tour begins in our estate vineyards, weather permitting, proceeding through our wine production facilities and continues into our wine caves for an exclusive barrel sample. The tour concludes in our caves with a hosted, seated wine and cheese pairing.

Graham cracker and milk chocolate leaps from this deep garnet-black wine in the glass.

What is Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon for 93 points?

Squeezing All the Flavors Out of Napa's Various Terroir

In 1978, Pine Ridge Vineyards was founded on a steeply terraced hillside flanked by a dramatic ridgeline of stately pine trees in the Stags Leap District.

Reflecting on our 2013 vintage with Winemaker Michael Beaulac and Assistant Winemaker Jason Ledbetter.

The 2013 Vintage was nothing short of ideal. From the growing season being long without any heat spikes, to the harvest having nearly no rain. The long warm growing season led to ideal phenolic material in the grape skins with wines showing remarkable color and easy extractable tannin.

The dry harvest gave the winemaking team the ability to pick at will as we saw no heat spikes and no rain in the future, we were able to meticulously pick fruit at will. Coming off a spectacular Vintage in 2012 it is hard to believe we would be blessed with an even better Vintage in 2013, but early indications all point to 2013 being extraordinary with broad rich palates while maintaining all the elegance and nuance of 2012.

Excellent tour. They are really helping to educate people on the process of growing grapes and making wine. This is the way Napa used to be when I first started going - 20 years ago - before the fake castles and bus loads of people who just want to get drunk. First time I have ever had the chance to do a barrel tasting as well. They are not fully organic, but they do practice sustainable viticulture. Really good wines and nice people. Great small production winery.

We had a nice experience here. Cabs are delicious and was the port. bottles start at $54 and go up to $175. Tasting is $40 per person. The only negative is that we had to ask for a fresh glass several times between wines.

Really enjoy their wines and the selection to choose from in their tasting menu. Nice property too. Danika was kind, helpful, clearly enjoys what she does. If you can see their barrel rooms and the underground parts that's also a bonus.

$40 per person tastings for 5 wines. Tasting area is a bit awkwardly situated -- there are cabinets that the staff often have to access right behind one of the counters.

Amazing reds! Our wine guide was extremely friendly and knowledgable. Wine was a bit too expensive for my wallet however.

Pine Ridge winery has very beautiful landscaping and grounds. There is a demonstration vineyard where you can see what the different grape varietals look like. The wine is very good quality, with a $35 tasting fee for 5 wines. The staff was very knowledgeable and interesting to speak with. A beautiful stop, especially if you want to picnic on the lovely grounds.
