2018 Holden Commodore
Available from February 2018, the Holden 'New Generation' (NG) Commodore is based on the Opel Insignia Grand Sport and will be offered with 2.0-litre turbo petrol, 2.0-litre turbo diesel and 3.6-litre V6 petrol engines. 2017 Audi 8VS RS 3 Sedan
Audi has unveiled its newest RS model: the RS 3 Sedan. While the RS 3 Sedan is the first 'RS' model to have a longitudinally mounted engine, the RS 3 also introduces a new version of Audi's 2.5 TFSI engine which has all-alloy construction. Whereas the previous 2.5 TFSI engine had a compacted graphite iron block, the new aluminium alloy block saves 26 kg, while power increases to 294 kW and 480 Nm. Preview: 2017 Kia Stinger
Expected to be released in Australia around September 2017, the Kia Stinger is a rear-wheel drive, fastback sedan. To be manufactured in South Korea, the Kia Stinger will be produced available with 2.0- and 3.3-litre turbocharged petrol engines that are mated to eight-speed automatic transmissions, though the former has not yet been confirmed for Australia. Like winter, the new Land Rover Discovery 5 is coming. Significantly, the new Discovery 5 has an aluminium monocoque which achieves a mass reduction of 480 kilograms relative to the L319 Discovery 4.
