Coloured lamps, ornate privacy screens and material draped dining room for Lebanese and Turkish.- Google
"Portions are a bit big but you can burn this off with the belly dancer!"
"In fact, she was frankly discourteous and extremely unprofessional."

Walked into a barely full restaurant and was greeted by the hostess who sat us down, no menu was given to us. A young waiter came over and flipped the glasses over and left us. Five minutes later he comes back and hands the menu. 10 minutes later he comes and takes our order, 5 minutes later our drink arrives. We had to ask for water on our table. Our starter came 40 minutes after we arrived at the restaurant and it was served with no plates so we had to eat from the bowl which didn't make cutting easy. When it came to the main we were only give one of the mains and not the other one, the waiter made a mistake but at no point did he communicate that to us instead he lied and said it was on its way. 15 minutes later he comes back and says that it will be another 10 minutes for the other main at which point we say no thanks and pay our bill and leave. The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because of the food otherwise it would have been 1 star. Honestly the worst service ever. The restaurant was not even packed so there was no excuse, there were 5 waiters all leaned up against the wall and so further proof that the place was empty. Good food let down massively by its rather pathetic and lazy approach to service.

Went in December 2014 with a group of 7 friends. Had a fantastic time. The fact that it is BYO and central is brilliant. Food was very tasty, service friendly. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Everything was done wrong in this restaurant. I think that the only thing that can be truly praised was the hummus which came in the starter. Food was merely a failed imitation of Lebanese & Turkish food. Attempted to return the Lamb Kofta as it was honestly not worth 17 pounds, both portion wise and flavour wise; the rice was dry and hard and the salad was not seasoned in the slightest. Exchanged for a Fattoush Salad. Felt as if they were genuinely attempting to insult. Genuinely felt as if I'd been scammed or cheated, if I'm honest. Served me sliced cucumbers and sliced tomatoes in a bowl and charged 16 pounds for it. When we complained and said that the food was not worth the price, the manager was not in the least sympathetic or willing to negotiate. Seemed extremely money hungry, and did not consider the customer's opinion, continuously referring to the satisfaction of previous customers which was completely irrelevant when us OURSELVES were not satisfied. Entertainment was a lone belly dancer, who was very talented and joyful, but I couldn't help but feel rather voyeuristic as she was not accompanied and was essentially thrown into the arena. Music was also jerky and poorly controlled while she was dancing causing her to hesitate. We should have known that the place was terrible when we saw nothing but empty tables upon arrival. Would not recommend this place in a million years.

Great food. Really good portions. Been here a few times and they have yet to disappoint. Highly recommended if you're hungry!

Terrible mezze, nothing like Turkish food at all. Everything we ordered was either bland or actually unpleasant. The bread was just cheap white pitta warmed up. Not worth wasting your money or your time visiting. There are other Turkish restaurants nearby and they can't be worse than this place. No idea how this place has such good ratings.

Very poor choice of food. Lacked options as we were forced to order from a 'group' menu. The minimum spend was £15.00 per person. Between a group of 10 or 12 we spent in total approx. £350.00 for food we did not want and prices which were not justified based on the quality of the food. Drinks were good and made us stay but when we got the food we all wanted to leave!
