I was ever hopeful when I went to try out the new Vegan restaurant that was around the corner from my job. The service and décor of the Ame RAW can Bistro was top-notch. I loved the simple, conservative interior design. The meal I picked up was over spiced and soggy. Disappointed with my lunch choice, I figured I would be able to seek solace in the crispity-crunch of my kale chips. No luck there; the chips-tossed in some kind of tomato glaze that did not complement the chips at all. All one needs is oil and sea salt and some garlic to taste--it’s not that hard. It was so bad it made me frown at Dave’s Killer Bread, and I LOVE that bread. I will not eat here again.

Excellent raw food with lots of choice. Good green tea and friendly wait staff. Worth the stop if you are gluten free, vegan, raw or just into good, whole food. I'd go back any time.

Was not worth the time I took to drive there from work for lunch, I ordered the BBQ Tempeh sadwhich, and I've had pleanty of seitan, tempeh and tofu type sandwhiches, and this was by far the worst. When I picked up the sandwich from the ameRAWcan Bistro, All I could see on the sandwhich was the vegan coleslaw, as i went to pick up the sandwhich I had also realized that all of the bread was completely soggy and fell apart immediately. I attempted to put it back together and eat it, but all I could taste was there vegan coleslaw, could not even taste the very very VERY thinly sliced piece of tempeh that was in there, and at first I didn't even think they put it on the sandwhich. Very dissatisfied.... If you want a really good vegan experience, go to Quickie Too, there is not one thing on the menu that will dissapoint... and if you want a soggy coleslaw sandwhich, go to AmeRAWcan..... although I will never be going back myself

Kale Chips, Without substance Italian Pizza, Actually goodish, but for $10 you get a little thing Cream of Tomato- Yuck Thai Coconut Curry- Disgusting American Sun Burger- Nasty Crunchy Cake center, This was NOT a burger, blah I grew up with my vegan mother, I could not finish this crap and flushed it down the toilet where it belonged. Of the Items above my dog would not even eat ( I tried) I just that's all I can say, Great Service, Great place, Crappy food.
