Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve Nepal!

Travelling to Burtibang by scheduled bus and then further local transfer to Dhorpatan made us a long journey and very tired. Once we reached found a great pleasure with its scenic atmosphere. Talking with locals and Nomadic Yarsa Gumba hunter was an amazing. Very innocent and uneducated people but their natural smile inspired a lot to how to be happy with limited available abilities. This is a most popular and only one hunting reserve in Nepal where there are rare animals .The Valley was wonderful and we can connect couple of trekking routes via this places such as Dolpo, Guerrilla trail etc.

If you don’t like to see a lot of fellow trekkers and still want to go somewhere beautiful this is the best trekking option for you in Nepal.  This is one of the least visited trekking trails in Nepal. Most of the trekkers go to very famous places but those places don’t cater the needs of special trekkers who want to get up close with nature and culture of the host country. If you are one of them this trekking in Nepal is for you.

This is the most popular trekking in Nepal and the most visited trekking trail in Nepal. This trek goes past some of the best villages and best view points in the Annapurna region of Nepal.  This short trekking in Nepal is operated almost throughout the year. Ghorepani-Poonhill is the most walked trail by foreigners in Nepal. The trek starts after a short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and goes past villages of Birethanti, Tikhedhunga and finally to Ghorepani. The second leg of the trek starts with a early morning climb to the famous view point Poonhill situated at 3210m.
