Would love to see this fantastic idea succeed in helping people to live more affordably and sustainably in such a beautiful way. Give a look and think about supporting them.

Hi. I'm Peggy. My goal is to become fluent in Spanish. I've been living and traveling in South America so I have the opportunity to use it every day. I've had to return to the U.S. for a bit and will be looking for creative ways to stay engaged and learning while I'm here.

Hi Nora. Thanks for putting together this community! I'm traveling full-time now and have been in Europe and South America since February. I'm briefly back in the U.S. to help a friend through cancer. I think of this as traveling (since I no longer have a home) and just another part of the journey. I'm looking forward to the sharing in this community!

This is for all of you choking on your dreams because you won’t let them out of your mouth.

Beautiful thoughts as I step into the next phase of my life.

The road goes ever on and on
Out from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
Let others follow it who can!
Let them a journey new begin,
But I at last with weary feet
Will turn towards the lighted inn,
My evening-rest and sleep to meet.

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate;
And though I oft have passed them by,
A day will come at last when I
Shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon, East of the Sun.

(Bilbo’s walking song, with a new verse by Frodo – at the end of the Lord of the Rings)

How have we come to the point where we believe that poverty is not a sign of collective failure but individual immorality?

Incredible!
Books can be an artistic medium in more than one way. One of my hobbies is collecting photos of books being used in unexpected ways. Brian Dettmer is an uber-talented artist who dissects books and transforms them into living works of art. Here are some of my favorites.
