Does anyone here remember that bootleg copy of Eccleston's episode "Rose" that was circulating around on the Internet about a month or so before the real episode was aired? I remember Murray Gold's theme being slightly altered for that copy, with what seemed like a little synchronization between some of the music's phrasing and the CGI we saw on screen (for example, tumbling through the vortex during the beginning march and then the TARDIS pauses between red/blue vortexes at the trademark "ooh-whee-ooh") . Am I being completely daft or does someone else remember this too? I thought the music sounded a little better in its rougher(?) state, having a little bit more bite to it, and the visual cues acting on the music was a nice touch. I supposed I could have dreamed it all, or maybe the bootleg was out-of-sync with a rough track cut, who knows.
