Browser Market Pollution: Why IE[x] is the new IE6
http://paulirish.com/2011/browser-market-pollution-iex-is-the-new-ie6/

While the shape and trajectory of the browsers at play has changed considerably in the past years, I'm a worried about the next ten. How can IE satisfy its IT department allies but not drag down the web's potential? Are we missing some wiser approach when it comes to upgrading the web's users to better browsers?

The Color Picker does not reflect the color selected on canvas for Fireworks CS4 in Lion. http://is.gd/yPFhoi

Do I have to pop for CS5.5?

Has anyone tried IE Compatibility List Pruning?
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ie/archive/2009/07/01/ie-compatibility-list-pruning.aspx

or setting the X-UA-Compatible header in Apache, via the config or an .htaccess file using the code below. Credit goes to html5boilerplate.com via http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2064702/force-ie8-not-to-use-compatibility-view
# ----------------------------------------------------------------------
# Better website experience for IE users
# ----------------------------------------------------------------------

# Force the latest IE version, in various cases when it may fall back to IE7 mode
# github.com/rails/rails/commit/123eb25#commitcomment-118920
# Use ChromeFrame if it's installed for a better experience for the poor IE folk

<IfModule mod_setenvif.c>
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
BrowserMatch MSIE ie
Header set X-UA-Compatible "IE=Edge,chrome=1" env=ie
</IfModule>
</IfModule>

<IfModule mod_headers.c>
#
# Because X-UA-Compatible isn't sent to non-IE (to save header bytes), we need to inform proxies that content changes based on UA
#
Header append Vary User-Agent
# Cache control is set only if mod_headers is enabled, so that's unncessary to declare
</IfModule>

I'm messing around with a responsive layout http://jonosmond.com.

I'm adding a "Raptor" button for larger viewports.
