Smells like spoiled rice! I absolutely love Freebirds! I think this location officially ruined it for me I absolutely love Freebirds I go there for their steak nachos. I work in the consulting industry and I have been to several in different states. However this is the worst location that I have been to ever!! Its smelled like spoiled rice, the nachos chips were stale, , the meat was chewy, the cheese looked old and was growing a skin. There were no other guest in the facility the day I visited and the staff didn't even greet or make eye contact. The food serving area looked filthy and the little of the back I could see looked even worse. The presentation of the staff was horrible! I think this location officially ruined it for me. I cant seem to shake the smell of the spoiled rice. I will never be returning to eat at another Freebirds again!

Freebirds has almost a mythical importance to me and a small group of friends, so it's hard to write an objective review. We've been going to Freebirds locations for over a decade, first on road trips to Austin, eventually to the first location near Dallas (on Greenville Ln.), and finally the one in Addison. An extensive history involving these giant burritos. To the uninitiated: Freebirds is basically like Chipotle or Qdoba. Personally, I think Freebirds is far superior, but not everyone feels this way. Pros: - Huge burritos (usually...see "cons") - Typically very good quality meat (but not always, unfortunately) - Wide variety of additional ingredients. - Fully customizable - Rock music in the restaurant - The option to have Spanish Rice instead of Cilantro White Rice (I'm looking at you, Chipotle...) - Awesome shirts, redeemable for Freebird Stamps (one per burrito, 10 for a shirt I think). Cons: - Sometimes inconsistent size of burrito; dependent on who makes it. - Inconsistent quality of ingredients. I have been very disappointed on a few visits, but it's usually very good. - The burrito is occasionally TOO good, which may lead to destroying your taste buds for all other food. Okay, maybe that's too far...getting back to that "mythical" thing I mentioned earlier.

This Freebirds is always friendly, and always tasty. I've been to many a freebirds, but this one is by far the best - consistently good food and I always love chatting with the employees.

This rather large lady, Macy, accused me of stealing a BROWNIE! WTF! Not even to my face. After I had paid, and found a seat, she told my friend "I know what she did and tell her to never do it again." When he came to the table and told me, I thought it was a joke. I freaked out. How embarrassing? I went to the counter and asked her if she really said that to him and she just looked at me plainly and said "Yes". I dumped out all the contents of my purse on the counter. And asked her to please show me where the alleged brownie was. She refused to look at me and said "I don't need to look in your purse." I asked to speak to the manager on duty, David White, who was even more rude to me- said "Oh yeah, she mentioned that she thought you took a brownie" didn't apologize, said "whoops", and "okey doke", several times- cutting me off. When I asked for his district manager's name he went to the back for about 10 minutes, came back with a huge, sarcastic grin and just kept shrugging. I have literally never been treated like that in my life. I am so angry and was humiliated. Thank god I was with close friends who know I would never steal- but imagine if these were accusations during my lunch hour, with my business associates? HOW EMBARRASSING. NEVER GOING AGAIN! Not to mention their food was terrible, they serve PEPSI and charge for sour cream, their meat was burnt to a crisp- DISGUSTING

I like Chipolte's a lot however I like Freebirds even more. The beef is more tender at Freebirds, they offer queso to add to bowls which enhances the flavor incredibly, and the staff is friendly and engaged. The one downside is this location is in a particularly busy shopping center so sometimes parking is a challenge.

I loved it. I took my brother and his family out and this place is perfect! If you have a family member that is a bottomless pit. This place is perfect! The burritos are ENORMOUS && Very Tasty. Just talking about it makes my miuth water. The employees were nice & patient. I am a very picky., & it's very hard for me to decide. But they were great. I love the aluminum foil decoration people made and they place them around the restaurant. Except for the inappropriate ones. I will MOST definitely go back!!

Great food! Most of the places in this chain are really loud, but the one time I went to this place it wasn't so bad.
