Check out ESA's Telerobotics and Haptics lab at ESTEC. Andre and his team are developing some awesome new technologies, especially with exoskeletons for control robot arms.

I had the opportunity to try the centrifuge in Star City recently and experience what 8-G feels like. Normally, we will only pull about 4-G during launch and landing in the Soyuz spacecraft, but in case of an emergency landing, the force will increase all the way to 8-G.

More from my visit to ESTEC this week. The Meteron team are developing Eurobot, which might be used in the future to help deploy a base on the surface of the moon or Mars.

+European Space Agency, ESA  just released their latest video from CAVES 2014 and as always it's fantastic! I was lucky enough to participate in CAVES 2012 and thought I would show what it actually takes to capture a good picture or video in a cave.

Caves: A challenging environment to get a good pic/vid, but we see, it's possible given good lighting, persistence and patience. Good practice for future challenges. Andreas, perhaps another future space photo enthusiast has been born ...
