Wolfiewolf, I have a friend who is on Medicaid because CA accepted the expansion. A diagnosis after 14 years. He's responding very well. Good luck.

Anybody using these to play pool would find himself in the alley with two broken legs. This is all the onanist daydreams of rich white guys with sports cars. Really? You have to "read the voice" of a girl you're interested in? Take off your damn glasses and use the sense God gave you, a-hole.

Isn't the most obvious reason for this the old retailer stunt of getting publicity on people fighting each other over the cabbage patch kids the first weekend, then answer the great "Wha..." that arises with an ample supply that you held back to create the shortage? I'd put that in "most likely reason," and I'm not being cynical. I haven't tried one, don't think I'll have any reason to try one, but that's me, and there's obviously a lot of different folks in the world. Good luck, Microsoft. But yeah, two things I can't stand are all the pre-announcment announcements of things you may see in the new Microsoft X-Thing, which creates a perception in Microsoft fans that their pre-announced thing that you see for 15 seconds and nobody is allowed to touch is rilly, rilly great! But Microsoft has changed their business model a great deal in the last three or four years. I think they're doing a lot of the right things to continue on top, but who knows? Sincerely, good luck to you.

A bunch of humans over hundreds of years. What else? Who was Homer? One person? Not likely. The Old Testament even has names attached to some books. Isaiah, for instance. You do know that many books were left out of the New Testament by the early Church, no? And none of the New Testament was written while Jesus was alive?

Two things: Syria is in danger of becoming a failed state. And the GOP is a failed Political Party.

Too much msnbc, nbc or abc for you. The Tea Party wants less government. Look how well the government is handling a new law that is one sixth the economy. Your faith in our government making the best choices for you and your family is naive and laughable. And the Syria mess......there is only one party that has made that worse. The Tea Party would have 1) never chose the side of Islam or 2) drew a line in the sand only to be screwed by the Russians. What a joke.

This is the painting in the National Archive of the battle called Murfreesboro in the South and Stones River in the North. It was fought 150 years ago, Dec. 31, 1862. Here's to then-Corporal John H. Hassinger, 77th PA Volunteers, Independent Battery B, my great-granfather, for living through a now little-known battle-- a Union victory-- at the cost of 12,000 Union wounded and killed. What were they dealing with the next day in DC? Fiscal cliffs? No. The Emancipation Proclamation.

Historical note: Lawrence Ferlinghetti the poet had a cabin under the bridge at one time. Jack Kerouac would come there to write. He finished a lot of work here, in the natural beauty and the sounds of the ocean.
