took adobes advice to change identical passwords to hart. took me about 3 hours of work (even though I use a password manager). wonder how many people are willing/able to do such an exercise. on the plus side all my passwords are unique now...

good read about the global cities becoming unaffordable for anyone but the 1%. what this article and many others like it fail to mention though is that this is not really about the cities becoming unavailable but the 'desirable' parts of these cities becoming unavailable. upper middle class families will rather move to the suburbs than considering less desirable quarters. Guess that mechanism works well for preserving a local service oriented underclass in place...

A beautifully worked out example of how the british intelligence service could have uncovered Paul Revere (a boston silversmith, who played a crucial role in the American revolution: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Revere) only by virtue of a set of membership lists of organisations that were critical of the british empire.
