Net neutrality is very important to everyone even of what you do has nothing to do with it. For those that are not familiar with net neutrality here is a short video that explains a little about the situation we're in. Lobbyists keep pushing and pushing trying get laws passed that will slowly cripple what we know as the internet. Sometimes its hard to tell but important to recognize when a proposal comes up that makes some information prioritized over others or changes anything that treats some information different than the rest.

The FCC is about to give up on net neutrality, this is sad.

Planned new rules would allow an Internet provider to negotiate separately with content companies and charge them for priority service.

Looks like I might just hold onto my LG G2 longer than I thought.

#Qualcomm has taken the wraps off of its newest mobile processors, the #Snapdragon808 and #Snapdragon810, both of which are 64-bit and include support for Cat 6 #LTE . Check out more details of the new chipsets at the link below!

In connection with my previous post about neutrality here is a blog post by the VP of content and media at Level3. From a more technical point of view it puts in perspective what types of intensional congestion is going on. Not every connectivity issue you experience at home is a problem with the local last mile network, there's issues at the major internet interconnects.

Words cannot convey my disappointment with the FCC.

Read this, it's important
The internet is fucked, and the US government is making it worse. Political cowardice caused the FCC to lose its first battle for net neutrality regulation: the rules that keep the internet as you...

Introduction
Living and breathing new tech, then somehow putting it all together late at night while drinking.

I'm a big fan of Japanese culture, learning Japanese and forever planing vacations there.

Started running in the morning, hope that works out in the winter.....

Music is life. I can do anything as long as it has a good beat. Wolfgang Gartner, Knife Party, and Chicago's own Krewella. Also, Q101 is essentially gone, but Q877 has come around due to the demand of the people. They don't really have any shows but if they would let me on the air I might even work for free....

One of the best places I've been to for a fun night of drinking. The atmosphere is great and the beer is excellent.
