If you only watch one cup final today, choose the second oldest competition (and the oldest trophy) in the world with two fierce rivals that haven't contested the final and one that hasn't won within our - or near anyone's - lifetimes. Hearts last met Hibs in the final in 1896 (3-1 Hearts in Scottish Cup XXIII) and Hibs last won the cup beating Celtic in 1902 (puts Man City's 40-odd year wait for England's top prize in perspective).
This year's vintage sees an abysmal Hibs who narrowly avoided relegation by virtue of their hugely talented, if wayward, strike pair O'Connor and Griffiths. While the sturdier Hearts have the wizardly Skacel and rotund Beattie (search 'Craig Beattie Celebration').
Game's at 3pm (10am ET/9am CT) on some channel or other - pull up a chair and savour. Then watch the other final after, if that's your thing.
