Fajr & Qiyaam Al Lail/Tahajjud Reminder!!

‎السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ
As’Salaamu Alaikum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh

‎الصلاة خير من النوم
Prayer is better than sleep

‎اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
I seek refuge in ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) from Satan (evil), the accursed

‎بِسْمِ الْلّٰهِ الْرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْم
In the name of ALLAH, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
HASTENING TO THE CALL.!!
Isn't it honorable that, you hasten to the Call of ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) regarding the master of the days? As a matter of fact, there should be no engagements besides performing that which we are called to (except with sanctioned excuse).

ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) says:
" O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the Salat (prayer) on the day of Friday (Jumu'ah prayer), come to the remembrance of ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) [Jumu'ah religious talk (Khutbah) and Salat (prayer)] and leave off business (and every other thing), that is better for you if you did but know!"
[Surah Al-Jumu'ah (62): 9]

Hence, here are some things to be done in revering this day:
1 - Praying Fajr in congregation.
2 - Before Salah al-Jumu’ah (Friday prayer):
» Cleaning and purifying oneself: Trim your nails, use Siwak to clean your teeth, perform Ghusl (like that of Janaba but with the intention of Jumu'ah), apply perfume (exclusive for male that are going for Salah), wear clean clothes, etc.

» Going early to Jumu'ah prayer.
» Walk to Jumu’ah prayer (if it's workable distance) in a state of calmness and not being hurried.

» Sitting in the front rows (if possible) when you get to the Masjid but avoid stepping over people to get to such place (or a particular spot) in the Masjid.
» Pray two Rak'ah of Salah (Tahiyyat al-Masjid) upon entering the Masjid even if the Khatib (Orator) is already on the Minbar.

» Sit quietly to listen attentively to the Jumu’ah Khutbah (Sermon) without any distractions.

3 - Perform the two obligatory Rak'ah of Jumu'ah behind the Imam.
4 - Perform the Nawafil after Salah al-Jumu'ah.
5 - Supplicate Allah's Blessing on the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
6 - Seeking the hour of having one's prayer answered on the day of Jumu'ah.
On a final note, please share and remind others to do the aforementioned, as you will get reward too by doing so, In Shaa Allah! Verily, the deeds most loved by ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) are those done regularly, even if they are small.
And ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) knows best.

May ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) to make it easy and accept it from you and I as an act of worship.

Allah Humma Aameen.

I come to you today with a great chance for reward…..A chance that is better than the world and everything in it.

The Prophet Peace and blessings be upon him laid great emphasis on the sunnah prayer of Fajr, saying, "It is more superior than the world and everything within it." (Sahih Muslim 1:151)
Can you imagine the two raka’a of sunnah are better than the world and everything in it!!??
If this is the value of the sunnah, what will be the value of the fard Subhana Allah?!!

Oh my dear sister and brother who sleep and miss fajr, you are missing a lot. Imagine this entire world and everything in it, including the great Palaces, the expensive jewelry, the extravagant cars and all the valuable things in this dunia are not worth the two raka’as of sunnah prayer of fajr!!!

'A'isha (radiallahu anha) said, "The Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) was not as regular in any supererogatory (nafl) prayer as he was in the two rak'ats before Fajr." (Sahih Muslim 1:251)

He would leave the nafl sometimes during travel but he will never miss the two rakas of sunnah of fajr, that is how important it is.

He (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) also said regarding the two (sunnah) rak'ats at the break of dawn, "They are more beloved to me than the entire world." (Sahih Muslim 1:251)

A question to you: do you really love him (salallahu alayhi wa sallam)? Then never miss it starting today.

Abu Hurayra (radiallahu anh) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "Do not abandon the sunnah rak'ats of Fajr, even if horses trample over you." (Sunan Abu Dawud 1:186, Athar al-Sunan 1:224)
Ya Allah, can you imagine how important this prayer is? Even if the horses are chasing you, you should not miss it!!!

The Prophet (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) allowed us to even pray it after fard if we missed it and had to pray fard because of time. That is how important this prayer is.

The question to you my dear sister and brother: After all this emphasis on the two rakaas of sunnah of Fajr, how could you miss the fard?? How could you sleep?

Always ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’alah during prayer to help you and grant you tawfeeq to wake up for fajr, don’t you ever miss this great opportunity, your entire life is worthless without it.
