Your Barbie doll cake is so incredibly beautiful, any little girl would be overjoyed. I would not-could not want to ruin the lovely decorations on this yummy cake...therefore I would just have people admire it, and eat a different cake...LOL!

Introduction

Hi! My name is Suhaina, a working mother  who has a wonderful son and a husband who are the main inspiration to cook new stuffs out. I really love and enjoy cooking, baking and experimenting with new recipes. I have a sister who keeps calling me to ask for the recipes and exact measurements and also one of my friends who calls me her recipe book.

After settling in Singapore I had the opportunity to try out variety of dishes, which I would have never even thought about or would have made if I were still to remain in India. That is why I chose the name “My Singapore Kitchen!”.   This site contains food stuffs which were made by me and liked by my family and friends. I love to share all my recipes with the people who love cooking and baking.

I had the passion to cook in my early childhood days. My mum used to always encourage me. I learned a lot from her and also from my aunties. I have a large compilation of recipes – I began to collect these recipes from 1999, My brother too is good cook, even though he ends up making stuffs which are very sweet, creamy or of high calories.

Since my recipe books are almost tearing off, I thought of compiling them together so that I can access them from any part of the world. These recipes are mainly my mother’s, my mother in-law,our maid Ragini Akka, my own and some I have found. I really don’t want these recipes to go to waste! I hope you will enjoy these recipes as much as I have.   Comments and Feedback are always appreciated.
