Ghost hunts, historical tours & haunted-house events in a Gothic-style, circa-1926 former hospital.- Google
"IMO, the tour guides lay the paranormal stuff on a little too thick."
"I'm not as fascinated with paranormal activity as I am old, abandoned buildings."

I went right before Halloween last year. The first time I'd ever been. As a nurse, I love seeing old hospitals and love hearing the history of the place. I would love to come back and do a candlelight/ lantern tour, or just explore. They don't allow cameras or flashlights etc. There was a 'haunted house' going on, which we did not participate in, so we did not get to see the areas that were part of that attraction. Much of it purposely decorated as such. I prefer to see things as they once were, the old paint peeling walls and equipment that was abandoned there. Otherwise it was cool and would do it again, but maybe a different time without the fake 'haunted house' tour is going on.

From what I know of this place, I would suggest all who are interested in the Paranormal to make a trip. This place has been listed as one of the more active haunts around. I am a great fan of abandoned asylums and this seems to stand out as one of the best. Go! I will as soon as I have a chance. I do hope you make it back!

Took the sunday history tour. Enjoyed it . Wish you had more time to look around and take pics though. Two hours for that whole place isn't long enough.

was just there with my husband on january 3, 2015 for the over night tour and we definitely had a good time! we didnt get to see anything but we heard some knocking in the electoshock therapy room...you definietly get a eery feeling as you pull in and see the building at night and feel the eyes going down the dark hallways, we definietly will be back soon, hoping to catch some activity!

Probably the best haunted tour I've ever been on; and I would consider the $22 guided historic tour just a precursor to the four or eight hour investigation. A lot of haunted walking tours are just that; a walking tour where you visit the outside of a lot of haunted sites, and if you're lucky the tour might let you into one or two public buildings. Not Waverly Hills, this is an indoor tour of multiple floors of an incredible building, and it's insane! Our tour guide (and caboose) were excellent, knowledgeable, and approachable, and they do a great job of giving you tips if you ever do an overnight. And yeah, I'm planning an overnight. Please, for the love of God, take my money!

Didn't see anything when I went, but I felt a presence in the shadows corridor. I would definitely go back, but I would purchase the extended stay tour next time.
