Shogunzuka Seiryuden 将軍塚青龍殿 @ Shoreiin 青蓮院

Walking the Higashiyama driveway from Keage station for about 1hour ,

(I walked, but I strongly recomend to take taxi from KEAGE station or shuttle bus on the way.)

I found higashiyama sancho park, in which you can enjoy the panoramic view of kyoto city. along with Shorenin 青蓮院, where they just finnished the construction of Seiryuden 青龍殿 last year.

There is a big wooden stage, bigger than the stage of Kiyomizu.

I had the stage all to my self today and a view of kyoto city and the surrounding mountains.

Best!

@ Higashiyama Jishouji Temple (aka. Kinkakuji Temple) ,Kyoto

Kinkakuji is a temple you can enjoyeven when it is raining.

I am not sure if there was this much moss at the time, but there is a saying that Yoshimasa Ashikaga was influenced in Moss garden of Saihouji temple (Kokedera Temple).

He really made this place entertaining for all season and any weather!

Respect!

The Phoenix Hall of Byodo-in Temple in Uji City looks very nice in its brand-new "robe". It clearly reflects the prime of Heian Period culture. Its scenic beauty is marvelous even when the weather is not so friendly. No wonder that you can find its almost 1000 years old silhouette on 10 JPY coin. It was pleasure to get there again! :)

Lake BIwa (琵琶湖)
Biggest lake in Shiga Prefecture, Japan
Water from aprox 450 rivers is said to flow into lake biwa, but there is only 1 river called Setagawa in which flows out from Lake Biwa.
Satagawa (瀬田川) changes its name  to Ujigawa (宇治川)in Kyoto,  and Yodogawa (淀川) in Osaka.

Since this water supported the life of people living in Kyoto and Osaka, It is called "Water of Life" (命の水)
