When it comes time for a company to get a website, new or redesigned, the cost associated with that is usually the first thing that pops up in discussion. A website is an investment and because of that, DIY website companies have been popping up to help alleviate the cost with their “one-product-fits-all” websites. While …

I’m sure you’ve heard of people reminiscing about simpler times, back when the computer and the Internet weren’t available. People would often meet up in person or call up to chat with their friends. Those were the days, they say. (Image source: Fotolia) Interestingly, the Internet has existed long enough ... Continue reading »

10 SEO Blog Posts I'm Most Proud Of

Every since reading Rand Fishkin, Aaron Wall, Michael Gray and Rae Hoffman when I first entered SEO, I've considered myself blessed to publish even a single post on the subject that anyone might find useful.

It's not easy to talk about yourself (and I've certainly written more than a few turkeys) but looking back on my work the past few years there's a few posts which still stand the test of time and I believe are useful to new SEOs even now.

If I had to list my 10 favorite posts to recommend to SEOs today, the list would include:

1. 10 Super Easy SEO Copywriting Tips for Improved Link Building

What are your favorite SEO posts of all time, by any author?
Want to know the secrets of SEO copywriting? Compare the two posts below, both written by the exact same SEO expert and each containing around the same number of words. Without knowing the subject, can you guess which post earned more links?

I thought i returned to work fairly quickly after my fiance's suicide in 2006. I had to do it...had to get back to work. But the truth is, at some point, you have to deal with whatever you are trying to "work" your way through.

Having lost my fiance to suicide (by hanging) in 2006, it hits hard to keep hearing about people who feel there is no  other option and no way out. And when someone like Robin Williams, who seems to have it all,  chooses to end his life, I lose a little hope for those without any resources to get the help they need. RIP Robin William. May you have peace now.
