Amazing food. I went here on a GILT gift certificate. It's definitely a hole in the wall. Had the seafood pastilla, the short ribs, and lamb chops. Very surprised by the quality of the food. Everything was delicious, healthy portions, great service. I would come back and will be recommending this place to friends.

The owner of Rustic L.E.S. is one of the rudest, most arrogant people I have ever encountered. When I tried to use a Groupon he called me "cheap", swore at me, and pushed me out of his restaurant. Why in the world does the owner, Yassir, offer Groupons if he does not plan to honor them? Rustic L.E.S. is a terrible establishment and the owner is a jerk.

One of the best brunch menus in Manhattan. Nothing special in terms of decor but atmosphere is cozy and inviting.

It is a small nice restaurant. It is very small, including seating at the, "bar" it holds about 18 people. There is no door between the kitchen and restaurant. The kitchen is not made to be viewed by the patrons but there it is. The food was pretty good, not amazing but good. The menu has about 8 choices for the main course. The three my group had were all good. The dessert was also good as was the wine. Overall good but not amazing. Pricing was about $35 to $60 per person.

I am in love with this place. The food here is amazing. I keep coming back for the lamb burger but their short ribs are great too. The desserts are delicious as well. The owner is a dear friend and always treats everyone really well. If you want Halal food, definitely ask since there might be some ingredients that are not completely halal but the chefs and the owner are extremely helpful in getting you the right food and making you palate jump with joy!!!
