Sinful Chocolate Cake
Cake which is a true movie star - "Chocolate". Even if it was not included in the aforementioned film, I dare to say that is so good that it could replace Depp and Binoche on posters:D
All in all - this is a true Chocolate.
22 dkg of dark chocolate
34 dkg of butter
225 dkg sugar
125 ml milk
6 eggs ( medium to large - not small )
1 vanilla sugar - 10 dkg
pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 180, grease the mold with the butter, flour it and put it on the side.
In a small saucepan mix butter, sugar, vanilla and milk until the butter melts and add the chocolate and stir constantly until melted (heat should not be too strong because the chocolate will burn ).
Beat eggs for 5 min and finally add a little salt.
Add the chocolate mixture into the eggs ( in between stir ) . Do it slowly to get a warm chocolate mixture . When you add all the mixture, mix well to obtain an even batter .
If you want (I did ), then strain the mixture to remove the remains of chocolate chips and condensed egg. Strain the batter into the prepared baking sheet .
Boil the water just enough to come almost halfway up a large pan and pour it in, and then in the water put a small pan with the batter . Water should be hot.
Bake for 40 minutes, remove the lower pan of water and let the cake cool for 20 minutes . Run a knife around edge of pan for the cake to unstick completely and turn it over to a serving plate . If you want , you can re- roll over to the right side on another plate.
Cool it for at least 3 hours before serving - ideally overnight (trust me , it pays off to be a little patient )!
- My pan was 28 cm in diameter , but you can also use a pan 24 cm in diameter. If you use pan with removable bottom, you need to wrap it 2-3 times with aluminum foil so that water can not get in , but this part I did not tried!
- Instead of the milk ( or instead of the whole amount ) you can use coffee or liqueur
- Follow the recipe exactly and in the end you will surely enjoy:-)
