We Added Forward Load Posting to our Load Dispatch Software!
There are some niggling little issues that bother Freight Brokers, Carriers and Shippers alike. The frustration of having to specify a single pickup date when posting loads that could be collected on any of a range of dates is one such issue.

For those posting to the major internet load boards, this problem has meant that any load available for pickup over a period of several days is either posted for just one day and no longer visible after the date chosen; or the load has had to be manually replicated and posted for each individual date. Whichever method you choose, inevitably you lose - post the load for just one date and risk it not being seen by a carrier who might be willing to haul on another date, or manually post several times and then have to clean up all those loads when the haul is claimed!

Sound familiar? Well that niggling little issue just went away for Dispatch Load Board users! We added Forward Load Posting to our freight dispatch software, so when you have a load that could be collected on any of up to 5 consecutive days, all you need to do is select Forward, (see image below) choose the number of days you want the load available for pickup, then go ahead and post your load.

When you use forward posting Dispatch Load Board automatically creates multiple instances of your load for each possible pickup date. When you post to other internet load boards from Dispatch Load Board, it posts all of these instances, making sure that your load stays visible until it has been assigned to a carrier. When the load is claimed & assigned to a carrier, Dispatch Load Board automatically removes the extra instances of the load and your problem is solved!

Happy load posting!

Your new Community Dispatcher
Hi,
I'm Sha (it sounds like Shah), the Dispatch Load Board Community Dispatcher. I'm looking forward to "meeting" you all and talking to you about what's happening around the Dispatch Load Board office, and around the industry. Right now you can keep up with us here on Google+ and also on Twitter @DispatchBoard.

Don't forget our open invitation to share what is happening around your company in our photo and video galleries. Just send them through and we'll add them to the page.

Keep posting those loads,

Sha

Freight Broker Question of the Week
Each week we ask a new question for all our Freight Broker friends on Twitter. To catch the Freight Broker question of the week, follow @DispatchBoard and tweet us your answers in 140 characters or less.

Once all the answers are in each week, we'll put together a wrap-up and post it here so you can see what others are saying in the Freight Broking industry.

If you need more than 140 characters to give us your answer, add your comments here and we'll pull it all together when we do our weekly wrap-up.

THIS WEEK'S QUESTION:
"How many employees work in your Transportation Business?"

It's great to finally have our own Brand page here on Google Plus. We're planning to share updates on what is happening with the software here as new features are added.

Really loving the photo and video sharing format here as well, so we're opening up our Dispatch Load Board photo and video albums to our users! Yes, grab your phone or camera to create fun photos of you and your team, big things that are happening around your company, big loads, tiny loads, new born truckers ... email them to support at dispatchloadboard.com and we'll add them to our company albums.

Let's get sharing!
