Ross Curran says: “I’m really excited to speak to the members of JCI on August 16th and look forward to an enjoyable, interactive session. I have always been interested in using technology to advance my clients financial positions, by improving transparency, reducing cost or just making the user experience that much more fun. Finance is considered a relatively mundane, though hugely important, facet of everyone’s life, and if I can show how the tech world offers a way to do things better and easier, then my job is done. I look forward to seeing you all there.”

All are welcome to attend the meeting at the Portershed, you can sign up for your free ticket on Eventbrite, - Using Innovation & Tech to Manage Your Money.

Edel Browne was awarded in the category of Academic Leadership and / or Accomplishment in the Ten Outstanding Young Persons Awards for Galway.
Since the age of 15, she has been building her company, Free Feet, a medical device company with a special interest in Parkinson's. Currently a second year Biotechnology student at NUI Galway, Edel also holds the positions of Head of Innovation and College of Science Liaison in the Entrepreneurship Society. This inspired her to set up the Young Innovators In Galway in 2015, a monthly event which highlights the innovative work they have accomplished. Last year Edel was named one to watch by the Irish Times, and listed among the top 38 Women in Tech in Ireland. We expect to hear a lot more from this young woman in the future. #TOYP16   #BeBetter   #TOYPGalway   #JCIGalway   #Galway   #Ireland   #TenOutstandingYoungPersons

Gavan Hennigan was awarded in the category of Personal Improvement and / or Accomplishment in the Ten Outstanding Young Persons Awards for Galway.
This amazing adventurer has raced across Antarctica and recently crossed Siberia. He is constantly striving to challenge himself to reach his limits but hasn’t gotten there yet. The next adventure will be to row across the Atlantic Ocean later this year. He has overcome many personal challenges in his lifetime and sought to better himself in his career diving thousands of feet underwater as a Saturation Diver on the North Sea oil rigs. He shows resilience working in the most remote places on the planet. He is an inspiring role model with his fundraising for charity and providing support in his local community. #TOYP16   #BeBetter   #TenOutstandingYoungPersons
