I was hoping for a little more. I usually go to the zpizza in Woodbridge, VA and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, when I visited this location last week for a take out order, I was very disappointed. Was it the cashier too busy playing on his phone or was it the rubbery cheese, crust, and toppings? Whatever it was, I don't plan on ordering from this location again!

The first time I went to Z pizza with my company it wasn't that impressive. The food was average, the take a slize pizzas look old, and the orders were mixed up - in one case they put the wrong dressing on a garden salad and my Hindi friend almost ate a bunch of Anchovies. The second time was more of the same... I was walking to the new Potbelly's, but it had not opened yet. I decided to try Z pizza again today. I ordered a calzone. I asked for it to go, but saw that there was no line and no one in the shop, so I decided I would people watch for lunch. I went to the front counter to tell them I was going to dine in instead of taking it to go. The gal at the counter nodded and told the cooks. I waited and waited and waited, but no calzone. Had to go to the counter, and they had put it in a box and did not notice I was sitting at a table. No one in line, two people in a 10 by 15 restaurant and they did not notice me. The calzone was 9 bucks without a drink, and nothing special. Do yourself a favor and go to the many other great restaurants around H street. Don't waste your TIME or money on Zpizza.

The food and service was great. However the tables and chairs were dirty and the bathrooms weren't much better.

WOW! This place is awesome! The bbq chicken pizza was amazing! The ingredients are super fresh and mostly organic. Lots of great choices! I only tried the pizza on my first visit. I cannot wait to come back for a salad or sandwich. What a great addition to the neighborhood!!

This location has one of the sweetest managers I've come across in any businesses. My first time coming to Zpizza, I ordered only a side salad through Eater24/Paypal to go. Due to some miscommunication, an entree sized Caesar salad was made. Instead of making me wait for my actual order, the manager was extremely apologetic and gave me the option to take the Caesar salad with no additional charge. My husband joined me today for their new menu sampling event. We were literally the only two people to attend the event. The same manager I encountered at my previous visit was there to greet us. We were expecting sample pieces. But instead we were treated full slices of all 5 types - Salami with tomato, sausage with squash and zucchini, garlic chicken, gluten free pear with Gorgonzola, and gluten free cheese. To be honest, the pizzas were just okay - all a bit undercooked and lacking in flavor. I found the sausage and chicken to be way salty and the tomato sauce on the cheese pizza to be overpoweringly sweet. The pear with Gorgonzola was my personal fav - but I would happily eat their pear, Gorgonzola, and candied walnut salad (we also had this over their intended avocado salad listed on the sampling menu - they ran out of ingredients) over the pizza version any day. With &pizza just a few blocks down the street, it was obvious why this zpizza is struggling. This place should consider a professional cleaning, a paint job, and new staffs (the poor manager was working all by himself while I watched a handful of workers rolling in at random time after the event had already started) if it wants to stay open. 5 stars for the manager, 1 star for everything else.

Zpizza was the best affordable food we had in DC. The rustic selection is amazing, especially the Mediterranean pizza. If you're looking for a high quality fast food it is the right place to go.

Organic and tasty ingredients with fast service. The location is good, but not a typical restaurant atmosphere. We usually order to-go.
