Welcome to Masa! Yes, we make Chicago Deep Dish Pizza right here in Echo Park!

All of our “masa” (dough) is baked fresh daily in our bakery & our sauces & dressings are made from scratch. Ingredients are organic & locally sourced whenever possible & we proudly serve “imported” Chicago favorites like Authentic Hot Giardiniera. Many of our dishes are old family recipes - lovingly passed down. Our Masa Family hopes you enjoy your dining experience as much as we enjoy having you.  Eat, drink & be merry & don’t forget to save room for dessert!

Got one pound of clams and one pound snow crab and one pound of headless shrimp for under $50 bucks! Ohhh we got two corn and two sausages as well. We did lemon and garlic butter mix for the sauce. The crab is hard to crack because we didn't have a tool at home.

Me and a few friends who all happen to be from Chicago celebrated a friends birthday this past Tuesday at Masa of Echo Park. We enjoyed everything about the establishment from being able to bring our own wine and dessert and also trying the famous croissant bread pudding which was delicious. I can't wait to go back and visit felt like being back home in the Chi.

I really don't think that Masa needs another review but I will offer my suggestions and keep this short and sweet! I think that the Manchego Salad is a nice appetizer and is perfect for sharing. Definitely try Masa's Chicago style pizza, the Traditional (sweet italian sausage and mushroom) was cheesy and delicious. And to top it all off we finished with the Bread Pudding. This perfection and definitely a MUST TRY!!! Service is always friendly and attentive! What more can a customer ask for?

This was my first time coming here, and I fell in love with their deep dish pizza. So delicious and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I recommend this place to anyone looking for true pozza lovers and Italian cuisine.

Nice atmosphere usually pretty quiet, service is decently passable, servers are pretty nice. The Chicago pies are huge and well made but usually sausy with a lot of tomatoes...which is good if you like tomatoes but over all these pies are amazing and worth the time you have to wait for them.

Deep dish pizza was marginal, but we still had a great time. Great service from hostess as well as dinner/drink service from behind the bar. Salad was very good. We'll come back and try something else besides the deep dish pizza.

Awesome spot! I'm from Chicago and hands down this keeps me satisfied from my cravings of the greatest deep dish pizzas back at home. I've brought friends who ordered other things like the salads (very large) and were pleasantly pleased. Actually someone from Chicago referred me to this restaurant a few years ago. Almost every time I drive from San Diego to LA for a couple of pies one of the owners gets me with a great conversation. The staff is friendly and work together like a family. For instance, someone in the staff married in 2014, the restaurant closed in honor of supporting/attending the eventful occasion. Cool beans!

I've been here a few times. The pizza takes a while to make, but it's really good. One small is more than enough for 2 people. I've also had the leak and potato soup and it's delish. It's a little pricey, but not too ridiculous. Nice for an intimate date or brunch. The decorations are very vintage and homey. I've also gone here alone and had a meal. Everyone is really nice. There's public parking around the corner. All street parking is metered. So bring change!
